Climate Change and Constructive Entrepreneurship

We are organizing our 4th Global Innovation Forum on Climate Change with the World Bank and over 200 young entrepreneurs. The goal is to have early-stage and seasoned entrepreneurs creating and launching commercially viable businesses that transcend traditional entrepreneurship in promoting solutions that are financially sustainable, and display positive communal and environmental impact. A small number of ventures will receive development grants.

Entrepreneur in Practice

June 15-17, 2011
Skopje, Republic of Macedonia

The Entrepreneur in Practice is designed to unleash the ideas, talents, and the entrepreneurial drive of 50 young Macedonian and international entrepreneurs by way of applied training. The three-day interactive program will focus on the complementary capabilities of domestic and foreign entrepreneurs, the entwined competencies of a successful enterprise, and the pervading resourcefulness of ICT in creating new businesses that address a local need while utilizing the means available to global community. A small number of ventures will receive development grants.

The Broadband Commission is co-chaired by H.E. Paul Kagame, President of Rwanda and Mr. Carlos Slim Helú, Honorary Lifetime Chairman of Grupo Carso. The Commission's mission is to promote the adoption of broadband-friendly practice and policies so that the entire world can take advantage of the benefits broadband can offer.
