Director of the ICT Teacher Training Program for Indigenous Teachers in Venezuela

Flor Borrelli is the Director of the ICT Teacher Training Program for Indigenous Teachers in Venezuela, a program that seeks to teach teachers of elementary education, the basic skills associated with ICT so that they, in turn, can enroll subsequently in the AME Program. The training uses a facilitator on site, face to face, with a manual designed for them, in two training centers located in Bolivar State, Venezuela. One training center is located in the San Francisco de Yuruaní community, with a satellite antenna, which currently constitutes the only means they have to communicate with the world since they do not have telephone services and the other training center is located in Santa Elena de Uairén, the most populated center of the region.
