Director, Cleantech and Green Products Practice, Bite Communications

A communicator by trade and an environmentalist at heart, Kristina brings over 15 years of public affairs and social marketing expertise to Bite Communications. As Director of the Cleantech and Green Products Practice, Kristina has helped to develop Bite’s unique approach for today’s audience-centric, channel-neutral, values-based communications that integrates marketing, advertising and public relations. Kristina’s expertise has informed some of the most well-known environmental leadership campaigns in the marketplace today – including Sun Microsystems (energy-efficient products), Applied Materials (solar and energy-efficient fabs), 3 Degrees (renewable energy credits and carbon offsets), EcoSMART (botanical pesticide) and Green Rubber Global (rubber devulcanization technology).

During her tenure at Flex Your Power, widely regarded as the most successful public outreach campaign of its kind, Kristina produced a series of energy and environment events across California including the 2006 Energy Summit (featuring Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger). On behalf of the state, Kristina has worked with some of the most influential associations and a number of the world's largest companies to develop creative communications vehicles in support of climate protection, energy efficiency and sustainability. Specializing in strategic partnerships, Kristina pioneered several co-branding and co-op advertising programs, creating 1000% increase in sales of some energy-efficient products in California.

Personally dedicated to climate protection, Kristina has educated a variety of audiences on energy reduction strategies and climate change mitigation, including the Bay Area Facilities Management Conference, West Coast Green and ENERGY STAR partners. Kristina has also been trained by Vice President Al Gore to present An Inconvenient Truth to audiences around the world. Kristina has an extensive background in public policy, electoral politics and is a published columnist and travel writer. Kristina is a Magna Cum Laude Graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder. Kristina is on the board of Sustainable Silicon Valley.
